About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Visitor Services Coordinator to join our team at the Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Visitor Services team, you will play a central role in delivering exceptional customer service and educational programs to visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging educational programs for visitors, both in-person and virtually
  • Coordinate the daily operation of the Museum, ensuring a seamless visitor experience
  • Provide expert knowledge on the Bank of Canada's history, themes, and functions to visitors
  • Collaborate with the Interpretation and Outreach team to develop and implement new educational programs and resources
  • Train and support the Visitor Services team in delivering high-quality programs and services
  • Contribute to the evaluation of visitor experience and provide insights for continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., education, public history, museum education & interpretation studies, museum studies)
  • Minimum of one year of work experience coordinating services to the public and a minimum of two years of relevant programming experience in a museum or public setting
  • English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language
