The Position: We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Investment Representative to become part of our Contact Centre team. Our mission is to empower Canadians with financial freedom by delivering compassionate, informative, and timely service. We strive to surpass industry benchmarks in customer satisfaction.

In the role of Bilingual Investment Representative, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our clients receive outstanding service. This position is distinct from typical call center roles, as we hold our team in high regard.

Your Daily Activities:

  • Addressing inquiries through phone, email, or chat regarding Qtrade Direct Investing (QDI) products and services.
  • Overseeing order processing for online trading from self-directed clients.
  • Resolving issues and complaints by initiating investigations and conducting follow-ups.
  • Staying informed about market trends that may influence clients' investment choices.
  • Identifying and proposing enhancements to processes.
  • Understanding and applying departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive mindset and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both English and French.
  • Preferred post-secondary education in business or economics.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH).
  • Options Licensing Course & Derivatives Fundamentals Course required within six months of employment.
  • Three years of relevant experience in the financial services sector.
  • Securities registration as an Investment Representative within the last two years is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
