The Role:

We are seeking a talented Bilingual Investment Representative to enhance our Contact Centre team. This position is pivotal in delivering exceptional service to our clients, ensuring they receive the support they need regarding our investment products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address inquiries through various communication channels regarding Qtrade Direct Investing (QDI) offerings in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Assist clients by managing order flows for online trading from self-directed accounts.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, resolving issues and complaints through thorough investigation and follow-up.
  • Stay informed about market trends and news that may influence client investment decisions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and suggesting enhancements to processes.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment influenced by market dynamics and client needs.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new skills and adapting to evolving responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and French are essential.
  • Preferred post-secondary education in business or economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) is mandatory.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, with a minimum of three years preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and operational hours.
