We are in search of a remarkable Bilingual Investment Representative to enhance our Contact Centre operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding Qtrade Direct Investing (QDI) products and services in a compliant, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Support clients by managing order flow for online trading from self-directed clients.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, resolving issues and complaints by initiating investigations, documenting details, referring to relevant departments, and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Stay informed about market trends and news that may influence client investment decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying, recommending, and actively participating in process enhancements.
  • Understand and apply departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment influenced by market trends and client demands.
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills to adapt to evolving responsibilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in both English and French.
  • Preferred post-secondary education in business or economics, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) is mandatory.
  • Options Licensing Course & Derivatives Fundamentals Course is advantageous and must be completed within six months of employment.
  • Three years of relevant experience in the financial services sector.
  • Securities registration as an Investment Representative within the last two years is a plus.
  • Adaptability to change is essential, as work hours and schedules may vary.
