Role Overview

The Bilingual Contracting Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring that producers and upper management across all distribution channels are efficiently contracted and licensed in accordance with established protocols and legal requirements. This position is vital for delivering exceptional customer service by accurately addressing inquiries related to contracting and licensing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the administration of contracting and licensing processes for all distribution channels, ensuring compliance with state and provincial regulations.
  • Provide customer support through a dedicated service line, requiring scheduled and rotational phone assistance.
  • Manage the processing of new contracting packages for producers and upper management.
  • Evaluate contracting packages for completeness and follow up on any outstanding requirements.
  • Conduct background checks in line with established guidelines, communicating with producers as necessary to clarify financial or criminal aspects.
  • Facilitate state appointments for producers and upper management, enabling them to represent the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of producer and upper management contracting and licensing information across all relevant systems.
  • Process terminations of producers and upper management in the systems, ensuring proper notifications are made.
  • Respond to daily inquiries via phone and email regarding contracting and licensing, ensuring efficient and accurate resolutions.
  • Monitor and notify producers and upper management about expiring licenses and errors and omissions coverage, updating systems as needed.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
  • Strong multitasking abilities under pressure, with attention to detail.
  • Adept at adapting to changing needs and prioritizing workload effectively.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills for resolving contracting and licensing issues.
  • Familiarity with producer and upper management contracting in both Canada and the US is advantageous.
  • Well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient keyboarding skills with a good command of Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of PMACS and PMACS web portal is beneficial.
  • Ability to work within the operational hours of the insurance sector.
