Position Overview:

Under the guidance of the Kitting/Assembly Supervisor, the Kitting and Assembly Production Specialist will engage in a variety of production and assembly tasks within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and stock workstations effectively.
  • Analyze work orders for efficient processing.
  • Communicate any material shortages promptly.
  • Identify, document, and report defects; utilize measuring instruments as necessary.
  • Interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists to prepare for tasks.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to assemble parts and components.
  • Position parts and subassemblies accurately using templates or measurements.
  • Ensure proper fit of components by examining connections and securing parts and subassemblies.
  • Perform additional kitting and assembly tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent GED.
  • A combination of education and relevant experience may also be considered.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, exceptional time management abilities, a commitment to safety, and a positive demeanor. The role may involve working independently or collaboratively within a team, adhering to established safety protocols.
