Position Summary:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Kitting/Assembly, the Production Technician will perform a variety of production and assembly tasks within our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain organized work stations by stocking materials as needed.
  • Review work orders to understand specific assembly requirements.
  • Communicate any material shortages promptly to the appropriate personnel.
  • Accurately mark, record, and report any defects encountered during production.
  • Utilize measuring instruments to ensure precise component dimensions.
  • Interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists to prepare for assigned tasks.
  • Assemble components and subassemblies using both hand and power tools.
  • Position parts and subassemblies according to templates or measurements.
  • Ensure proper connections and secure fastening of parts and subassemblies.
  • Perform other kitting and assembly duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, a commitment to safety, and a positive attitude. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team while adhering to established safety protocols.
