Production Assembly Supervisor

Brandt, recognized as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies, is dedicated to delivering high-quality products to clients around the globe. Due to our ongoing expansion, we are looking to appoint an Assembly Foreman for our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate personnel to ensure each leadhand is adequately staffed to meet production timelines.
- Assist in the configuration of products to enhance workflow and ensure workplace safety.
- Oversee the inventory of consumables and assembly materials, ensuring they consistently exceed minimum levels.
- Communicate any shortages to the planning team promptly.
- Conduct audits on both quantity and quality of assembled products.
- Ensure all work orders are available on the production floor as required.
- Collaborate with products to optimize operational efficiencies.
- Uphold all Brandt policies, particularly those related to safety.
- Address and follow up on any issues that may arise.
- Assist in the training and cross-training of team members.
- Manage minor day-to-day operational challenges.
- Perform cleanliness audits within the workshop.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
- Proficient in performing all assembly tasks to a satisfactory standard.
- Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings.
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Experienced in the use and operation of various hand and power tools.
- Skilled in following both written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Familiarity with the operation of oxygen-acetylene cutting torches, arc welders, and MIG welders.
- Knowledgeable in the maintenance requirements for equipment in this role.
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical information in an accessible manner to all staff levels.
- Proficient in building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
