Production Assembly Supervisor

Brandt, recognized as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies, is dedicated to delivering high-quality products to customers around the globe. Due to our ongoing expansion, we are looking to fill the position of Assembly Foreman.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate personnel to ensure each leadhand is equipped with the necessary workforce to adhere to production timelines.
- Assist in the configuration of products to enhance workflow and ensure safety within workstations.
- Oversee the inventory of assembly materials and consumables, ensuring levels are consistently maintained above minimum requirements.
- Communicate any shortages to the planning team promptly.
- Conduct audits to verify quantities and quality standards.
- Ensure all work orders are accessible on the production floor as required.
- Collaborate with products to improve operational efficiencies.
- Uphold all company policies, particularly those related to safety.
- Address and follow up on any issues that may arise.
- Facilitate the training and cross-training of team members.
- Manage minor day-to-day operational challenges.
- Perform cleanliness audits within the workspace.
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
- Proficient in executing all assembly tasks to a satisfactory standard.
- Able to interpret and comprehend technical drawings.
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Experienced in the use and handling of various hand power tools.
- Skilled in understanding and following both written and verbal instructions.
- Familiarity with the operation of oxygen-acetylene cutting torches, arc welders, and MIG welders.
- Knowledgeable in the proper maintenance of relevant equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communicator in both technical and accessible language with diverse staff, including technical and management personnel.
- Skilled in building and sustaining relationships with various stakeholders.
- Adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
