Position Overview:

We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer who is a proactive team member with exceptional communication and organizational skills. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the continuous improvement initiatives within the Assembly and Molding Departments.
  • Manage the Cost Reduction Plan (CRP) projects, focusing on process enhancements and lean methodologies to minimize costs.
  • Coordinate workstation setup and review processes, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints while identifying improvement opportunities through a collaborative team approach.
  • Maintain a strong emphasis on safety and ergonomics, ensuring continuous enhancement of workplace conditions.
  • Analyze data to recommend strategies for improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Explore and implement innovative technologies and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Quality department to address customer concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Design plans for optimal utilization of materials, equipment, and personnel, including training development and facilitation.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment by engaging cross-functional teams in planning and review processes.
  • Exemplify professionalism and decision-making skills to inspire colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and IATF (including ISO 9001) standards, along with adherence to company policies.
  • Promote a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Support colleagues in achieving operational success with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Industrial and/or Mechanical Engineering or a College Diploma in a related field is required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years in Manufacturing Automotive Management or a related field with proven leadership capabilities.
  • 7-10 years of experience in the Plastics and/or Automotive Industry or equivalent is preferred.
