Position Overview:
As a vital member of our team, the Process Safety Management Engineer will oversee the Total Process Safety (TPS) initiatives within our operations. This role is crucial for ensuring adherence to both corporate and local regulatory safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate the Total Process Safety program for the facility.
2. Facilitate the TPS Committee to foster a culture of safety across the organization.
3. Monitor and report on process safety performance, collaborating with leadership to implement necessary improvements.
4. Conduct local Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and manage related action plans.
5. Oversee incident investigations and disseminate Safety Alerts and Best Practices.
6. Serve as the Process Safety Reviewer for Management of Change (MOC) requests.
7. Provide training on TPS to various levels of plant leadership and engineering staff.
8. Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) audits and lead self-assessments.
9. Maintain technical documentation related to process safety.
10. Act as the Fire Protection System (FPS) Coordinator for the facility.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Agricultural) or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in safety management is preferred.
- Familiarity with the 14 elements of Process Safety Management (PSM) is essential.
- Experience in oilseed extraction, grain handling, or oil refining is advantageous but not mandatory.
