Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at SCOOPS BREAKFAST AND LUNCH RESTAURANT. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, and monitor revenues to determine labor costs.
- Operations Management: Evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including setting work schedules and monitoring staff performance.
- Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, including maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Suppliers and Partnerships: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, and negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong organizational and time management skills.
The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
