Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions and optimize operations.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on kitchen performance and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure that our menu offerings meet customer expectations.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that our customers receive high-quality service.
- Establish work schedules to ensure that our kitchen staff are adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
- 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve high standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, and customers.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures and the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
