About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FI/CO Analyst to join our team at Magna. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for implementing and providing support for FICO (Finance and Controlling) systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, particularly during month-end closing.

As a SAP FI/CO Analyst, you will analyze business requirements and identify feasible solutions within the SAP framework. You will implement solutions using SAP configuration, master data setup, or code and provide day-to-day SAP end-user support. Your strong analytical skills, business knowledge, and IT background will enable you to provide training to users and suggest improvements to FI/CO processes.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Analyze business requirements and identify solutions within the SAP framework.
  2. Implement solutions using SAP configuration, master data setup, or code.
  3. Provide day-to-day SAP end-user support.
  4. Develop and adhere to standards for design, coding, testing, change control, code deployment, software controls, configuration management, continuous integration, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of application problems.
  5. Monitor and test all FI/CO processes to ensure solutions are not impacted by other modules when upgrades and support patches are implemented or if the process changes in any other module.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a business analyst, systems analyst, systems training, systems design, technical support, or applications programming.
  • Must have worked on FICO modules in SAP and have a good understanding of Finance and Controlling modules.
  • 3 to 5 years of SAP FICO experience.
  • Excellent English and Spanish language skills (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Able to configure and support in FICO (S/4 HANA) modules in SAP.
  • Skilled in SAP Report Writer.
  • Previous experience in SAP implementation and development of SAP configurations.
