**Company Overview**:
The Company operates from its head office in Aurora, ON and maintains sales and service operations in Cincinnati, OH, Chicago, IL, Orlando, FL and Ottawa, ON.

**Purpose**:
Many of our customers provide essentials services and as such rely on us to ensure their equipment is operating 24/7 We must responded urgently when they call and our Receptionist is the first to receive these important calls. It is critical to have the customer calls transferred into the right hands as quickly as possible. A high level of customer service is paramount.

Our Business Services role welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone while answering or referring inquiries. The role also directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories and giving instructions. Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook. This is often the first point of contact for our customers, suppliers and business partners and as such, is responsible for representing the Company with a great first impression.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Receive and accurately transfer calls from Service customers;
- Answer and forward all calls to proper co-worker or department;
- Greet all visitors and manage the visitor log;
- Mail and retrieve mail from mail box;
- Order all office and cleaning supplies;
- Assemble ‘new equipment’ manuals;
- Provides file management support for Accounts Payable;
- Data entry, digitizing and file management;
- Process credit card payment;
- Support various month end activities such as; work orders, inventory, cost analyst etc;
- Support the Health & Safety department on monthly reporting and filing requirements;
- Support social activities as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Director, Human Resources or delegate.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Post-secondary education;
- Intermediate skill level and experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word;
- Reception skills - communication, organization, judgement, professionalism;
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Flexible - able to move seamlessly between work types.

**Physical Demands**:
The physical demands of the role are typical of a receptionist role.

**Term, Hours of Work and Compensation**:
This is a part-time position that will be staffed Monday - Friday between 7:30 AM- 12:30 PM.

Flexibility to work outside of these regular hours to provide back up in the event the Receptionist is absent or unavailable.

The role is entitled to 4% vacation pay and paid statutory holidays.
