Position Summary
We are seeking a Production Supervisor who will play a pivotal role in shaping a high-performing team. This position involves fostering a culture of collaboration and personal growth while aligning team members' unique skills with the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish a safe and supportive workplace that promotes teamwork.
- Encourage open communication and ensure timely resolution of employee concerns.
- Lead a team of approximately 20 direct reports, focusing on accountability, innovative thinking, and sound economic decision-making.
- Facilitate skill development in team members to effectively identify and address root causes of issues.
- Collaborate with other leaders to ensure smooth transitions between teams and shifts.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role.
- Background in a manufacturing, industrial, or military setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Over 3 years of leadership experience.
- Experience supervising a manufacturing or operations team.
- Familiarity with unionized manufacturing environments.
- Post-secondary education in a technical field (e.g., Maintenance, Welding).
- Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts as needed.
