We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Team Leader to join our team at American Eagle Outfitters. Key Responsibilities- Drive Sales and Revenue Growth: As a key LOD (Leader on Duty), you will be responsible for maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, building guest loyalty, and contributing to the overall financial success of the store.
- Merchandising and Visual Standards: You will coach your team to deliver an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store is always representative of AEO Brand Standards. You will lead day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- People Leadership and Development: As a role-model leader, you will motivate and inspire your team through AEO's core values. You will hold your team accountable to rocking AEO's customer service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
- Talent Acquisition and Training: You will make it a top priority to recruit and hire strong talent to ensure the store is always staffed to meet business needs. You will take pride in training and developing your team to ensure they continue to provide outstanding service.
- Operational Excellence: You will be a natural at executing and innovating daily operational procedures, supporting the team in maintaining visual standards throughout every zone in the store, and ensuring the Fitting Rooms are always guest-ready and rocking AEO Brand Standards.
- Integrity and Compliance: You will ensure store safety standards are maintained, adhere to AEO's policies and procedures, and do the right thing - always.
- You have a passion for driving sales and revenue growth.
- You have led teams in a retail management role previously.
- You can multi-task and have attention to detail; priority-setting and time management are your strong suits.
- You know how to lead and develop teams and have a general understanding of employment law.
- You have business acumen and can analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions.
- You have flexible availability and are available to work when the guest shops.
