THE ROLE

The Manufacturing Process Engineer position serves as an excellent starting point for engineers eager to apply and enhance their skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in engineering projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor daily production metrics.
  • Design and specify the operation of manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in proposal preparation, develop findings, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations. Prepare engineering documentation, cost estimates, and process transmittals.
  • Contribute to the design of moderately complex engineering projects or manage components of larger projects.
  • Propose ideas for safer, more cost-effective, or innovative techniques, regardless of project relevance.
  • Ensure engineering tasks are completed within established timelines and budget constraints.
  • Maintain technical skills and knowledge at the forefront of industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff across various locations. Engage with sales, marketing, accounting, and suppliers as necessary.
  • Report to the Technical Manager.
  • Receive moderate guidance and some supervision, with considerable freedom in planning work. Work is periodically reviewed for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide technical guidance and instruction to process operators. Assist junior professionals with procedural and technical inquiries.
  • Address a broader range of troubleshooting challenges, utilizing foundational process knowledge and creative problem-solving skills.
ABOUT YOU

We seek engineers who are eager to learn in a culture of excellence. You will need:
  • BSc in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with basic chemical unit operations.
  • Relevant internships or work experience are beneficial but not mandatory; we are committed to rapidly developing your skills in chemical processes and production.
