INVISTA is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a high-performance culture within your team, ensuring that each member's unique skills are utilized effectively to achieve both personal and organizational goals.

As one of the largest employers in the region, our facility is committed to producing top-quality products for various industries, including automotive safety and engineering materials. Key Responsibilities

  • Establish a safe and collaborative work atmosphere that promotes teamwork and open communication.
  • Address employee concerns promptly and create an environment conducive to feedback.
  • Lead a team of approximately 20 individuals, focusing on empowering them to take ownership of their roles and drive innovative solutions.
  • Identify skill gaps within the team and implement targeted development plans to enhance performance and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with fellow leaders to ensure seamless transitions between shifts and teams.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Background in a manufacturing, industrial, or military setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Over 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing context.
  • Experience managing teams in a unionized environment.
  • Relevant post-secondary education in a technical field.
  • Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts as necessary.
