The Opportunity

The Quality, Innovation, Research, and Training portfolio is responsible for guiding and supporting the execution of strategic initiatives related to Mental Health and Addictions. As a Consultant in Planning and Improvement, you will serve as an internal advisor, orchestrating and coordinating strategic planning efforts and overseeing the implementation of complex program changes aimed at enhancing service delivery.


Hours of Work

Monday-Friday; 75 hours bi-weekly


Your Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Health Services Administration, Health Information Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering is required.
  • A Master's degree in a related field is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in leading strategic and performance improvement projects is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of program and strategic planning methodologies.
  • Proficient in various software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, relational databases, and project management tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in LEAN principles, project management, and change management.
  • Solid understanding of evaluation design and methodologies.
  • Experience in data management, analysis, and statistical evaluation.
  • Familiarity with Mental Health and Addictions frameworks and the broader health system.
  • Exceptional team-building and group facilitation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of initiative.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
