Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retirement Plan Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to members with their Group Retirement plans, addressing inquiries and guiding them through various aspects of their retirement savings journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive guidance and education to members regarding Group Retirement plans, including fund direction, management fees, rates of return, and fund rationalizations.
  • Accurately gather and record customer information within our CRM system, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Deliver a professional and positive customer experience, exceeding expectations at every interaction.
  • Identify opportunities to provide value-added advice and facilitate successful referrals to financial advisors.
  • Process service-related requests for clients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stay abreast of changes in legislation, products, and processes within the financial services industry.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in finance, business, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Financial Services, preferably in a phone-based role.
  • Strong bilingual skills (English and French) with excellent listening and customer service abilities.
  • Proven ability to consult effectively with diverse customers and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Assets

  • Background in the financial services industry.
  • Understanding of investment products available to Canadian investors.
  • Knowledge of segregated funds.
