We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning and Forecasting Specialist to join our European Planning & Forecasting Hub in Poznań or Warsaw.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with in-market Finance Teams, Country Finance Manager, and other colleagues to create Forecasts, Plans, and Update exercises for Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
- Develop a strong understanding of actual/historical performance, external environment, and incorporate these insights into planning and forecasting considerations.
- Prepare management reports on a monthly basis, including Demand Review Meetings, Monthly Performance Reviews, and Core Commercial Cycles, with variance analysis, risk, and opportunities for management review and business performance/gap closing initiatives.
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting requests from in-market finance teams or the Finance Manager, such as trend analysis for product types.
- University Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, or Economics.
- Relevant experience (minimum 4 years) preferably within a similar finance role.
- Experience in Financial Planning/Budgeting, preferably in a corporate environment in a multinational company.
- Proficiency in Excel, with expertise in creating or extracting information from/to Excel and use of advanced formulas.
- Proficient financial knowledge of analysis, evaluation, modeling, and forecasting with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Desire to take ownership of tasks.
- Coordination, planning, and organization skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload to meet critical deadlines.
- Positive attitude, energizes team, and can influence it to tackle problems.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Strong reporting writing and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
