Bilingual Labour Relations Officer

Lrostaffing is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Labour Relations Officer to lead a dynamic team on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, free parking onsite, and a competitive compensation package.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop the internal Labour Relations, Membership Services, and Finance team to ensure efficient operations and delivery of services.
- Legislative Compliance: Manage and oversee legislated and contractual representation obligations to ensure compliance with union by-laws and collective agreements.
- Strategic Advice: Provide assistance and sound advice to the National President, National Vice President, and National Council on operational, political, and strategic goals of the union.
- Operational Support: Support the internal team to ensure efficient operations and delivery of services, including training and oversight to ensure compliance with union by-laws and collective agreements.
- Financial Management: Manage finances in alignment with organizational goals and budgetary guidelines.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Education: Post-secondary degree in Labour Relations, Political Science, Law, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Language: Fluent bilingualism in English and French is a must.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in grievance or adjudication processes, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of labour relations and regulations, including the ability to analyze, interpret, and execute collective agreements, employment legislation, and policies.
The position offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $100,000 to $118,000 per annum dependent on experience.
