Bilingual Director of Operations and Labour Relations

About the Opportunity
LRO Staffing is seeking a seasoned, bilingual professional to lead a dynamic team as their Director of Operations and Labour Relations. This senior management position is responsible for supporting the operational, political, and strategic goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the internal Labour Relations, Membership Services, and Finance team to ensure efficient operations and delivery of services.
- Manage and oversee legislated and contractual representation obligations to maintain compliance.
- Provide strategic advice and support to the National President and Council on labour-related matters.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve objectives and drive business growth.
- Manage finances in alignment with organizational goals and budgetary guidelines.
About You
The successful candidate will possess:
- An undergraduate degree in Labour Relations/Industrial Relations or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Fluent bilingualism in English and French is a must.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with an emphasis on public administration and/or labour law discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of substantial experience representing a complainant in a grievance procedure or before an administrative tribunal.
About the Job
The position offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $135,000 per annum, dependent on experience. The successful candidate will enjoy a hybrid working arrangement and have access to free parking on site.
