Brandt is currently seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Parts Person at our Cranbrook Construction & Forestry location. This position is responsible for assisting customers in locating required parts, providing pricing, and completing online parts orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Problem Solving: Utilize analytical skills to resolve customer inquiries and locate required parts.
  • Inventory Management: Unload, receive, and store incoming parts and materials in a safe and organized manner.
  • Order Fulfillment: Locate and ship parts to customers and other branches in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required, ensuring excellent customer service skills are maintained.
  • Inventory Control: Place inventory stock orders, make inventory and bin adjustments, and accurately document and report all shipping, receiving, and inventory information.
  • Equipment Operation: Utilize parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems to efficiently manage inventory and complete tasks.

Required Skills:

  • Physical Demands: Capable of meeting the physical demands of the parts/warehousing trade.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and in person.
  • Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Required Experience:

  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the parts industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills.
  • Certification: Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Capable of meeting the physical demands of the parts/warehousing trade.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and in person.
  • Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
