We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Care Leadership Coordinator to become an integral part of our Nursing Care leadership team at Joseph Creek Village. This role will focus on providing robust support in the recruitment and onboarding processes as we cultivate a proficient clinical staff team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to the Director of Clinical Care, overseeing the nursing team with established lines of authority and communication.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Clinical Care and Community Manager in the recruitment, performance management, and evaluation processes.
  • Demonstrates a genuine passion for empowering seniors to lead fulfilling lives.
  • Assists the team in developing and executing comprehensive care plans tailored to residents' individual needs.
  • Ensures that care practices comply with legislative standards and the mission and philosophy of Golden Life Management.
  • Facilitates the implementation of the RAI MDS program, including performance metrics evaluation.
  • Engages with educational institutions for the placement of practicum students.
  • Fosters positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Addresses family and client concerns following the Positive Solutions process.
  • Co-leads departmental meetings.
  • Coordinates and oversees operational activities within the department.
  • Participates in strategic planning and accreditation initiatives.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Clinical Care and the Quality & Clinical Practice Consultant to identify and address learning needs.
  • Available for on-call support as needed (telephone consultation).
  • Maintains current registration with BCCNM as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Possesses a minimum of five (5) years of management experience, including supervising a multidisciplinary team, budget oversight, and quality management processes.
  • Brings relevant experience in long-term care settings.
  • Exhibits strong multitasking abilities, effective time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in planning, directing, evaluating, and managing the delivery of diverse care services within a social model framework.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Can provide a Negative TB Screening and Immunization Records.
  • Successfully clears a vulnerable sector criminal record check.

What We Offer:

Compensation: $66,000 - $87,000 annually.
