Join Golden Life Management, a leader in seniors housing and care, as we expand our services across western Canada. We are currently seeking a full-time Clinical Care Leadership Coordinator to become an integral part of our Nursing Care leadership team at Joseph Creek Village. This role is pivotal in supporting the recruitment and onboarding processes as we develop a dedicated team of clinical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Director of Clinical Care, ensuring effective oversight of the nursing team through established lines of authority and communication.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Care and Community Manager in the recruitment, performance management, and evaluation of staff.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
  • Assist the team in formulating and executing comprehensive care plans tailored to meet residents' individual needs.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and the standards set by governing bodies (CCALA, BCCNM) while aligning with our mission and philosophy.
  • Oversee the implementation of the RAI MDS program, including performance metrics evaluation.
  • Engage with educational institutions for the placement of practicum students.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Address family and client concerns in accordance with the Positive Solutions process.
  • Co-facilitate departmental meetings to promote effective communication.
  • Coordinate and monitor departmental operational activities.
  • Participate in strategic planning and accreditation efforts.
  • Work alongside the Director of Clinical Care and the Quality & Clinical Practice Consultant to identify and address educational needs, including policy and procedure reviews.
  • Be available for on-call duties as required (telephone consultation).
  • Maintain current registration with BCCNM as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Possess a minimum of five (5) years of management experience overseeing a multidisciplinary team, budget responsibilities, and quality management processes.
  • Bring prior experience in long-term care settings.
  • Exhibit strong multitasking abilities, effective time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrate a robust capacity to plan, direct, evaluate, and manage the delivery of diverse care services within a social model framework.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Provide a Negative TB Screening and Immunization Records.
  • Successfully complete a vulnerable sector criminal record check.

What We Offer:

Compensation: $66,000 - $87,000 annually.
