About the Role

The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing community-focused mental health and addiction service programs. This role involves coordinating mental health assessments, treatment plans, and disposition strategies for clients and their families experiencing mental health challenges throughout their lives. The Team Leader ensures the delivery of comprehensive services to this demographic and fosters collaboration with local inpatient, outpatient, and community services to maintain continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective clinical supervision and support.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and ongoing training of new clinicians, enhancing their skills within this specialty.
  • Ensure that all clinical staff deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for service enhancement and lead quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and orientation materials for clinical practices.
  • Promote a client-centered approach in decision-making, customer service, and conflict resolution.
  • Encourage language proficiency among staff, with a preference for French-speaking candidates.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work.
  • Current licensure with the appropriate regulatory body.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in Mental Health and Addictions intervention.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time Long Assignment (100%)/ 75 Hours biweekly.
  • Travel to various locations may be necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this position is $51.73. Eligible candidates may receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance, along with a defined benefit pension plan. Additional incentives such as signing bonuses and relocation assistance may also be available.
