Lead Social Worker in Mental Health Services

About the Role
The Team Leader will oversee and manage the operations of community-focused mental health and addiction services. This position is responsible for delivering comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care for clients and their families dealing with mental health challenges throughout their lives. The Team Leader will ensure that high-quality services are provided to this demographic and will foster collaboration with local inpatient, outpatient, and community services to maintain continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the delivery of mental health and addiction services, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.
- Provide clinical guidance and supervision to a multidisciplinary team, including new and less experienced clinicians.
- Engage with various health service providers to promote effective communication and patient care.
- Identify opportunities for service enhancement and lead quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain operational guidelines, training materials, and standard procedures for clinical staff.
- Exhibit leadership in client-centered care, customer service, and conflict resolution.
- Possess competencies in additional languages, with a preference for French.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work.
- Current licensure with the appropriate regulatory body.
- A minimum of three years of experience in mental health and addiction interventions.
- Proficient in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Ability to ensure clinical staff utilize effective treatment modalities.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time Long Assignment (100%)/ 75 Hours biweekly.
- Travel to various sites may be necessary.
