Position Summary: We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Director of Sales and Go-To-Market Strategy to spearhead our initiatives in Montreal. The successful candidate will be a self-driven, business development-oriented professional with a demonstrable history of successfully selling software solutions to large enterprises. This role requires a proactive approach to developing and refining sales practices for a growing organization, along with a commitment to leadership. You will collaborate closely with the executive team, product management, and marketing to not only manage but also construct and innovate a sales organization from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate go-to-market strategies that align with Maya HTT's mission for new products in relevant markets, informed by market and customer insights.
  • Establish a standardized and scalable sales process for Maya's direct sales channels.
  • Generate a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through both inbound and outbound strategies, including creative lead-generation campaigns and industry events.
  • Oversee complex sales cycles and, where feasible, cultivate additional business within existing accounts.
  • Articulate Maya HTT's value proposition to various levels of potential customer decision-makers, including C-Suite executives, IT, and Procurement.
  • Provide accurate forecasts of the sales pipeline while meeting established short-term and long-term KPIs.
  • Continuously identify ideal customer profiles and adapt to evolving business needs while mapping customer purchasing journeys.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, leading to referrals that can serve as foundational opportunities for future business.
  • Collaborate effectively across relevant internal teams.
  • Participate in industry trade shows to research and generate leads while advising Maya HTT's leadership on market trends.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 7 years of experience in software sales, with a proven ability to exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and driven with a strong emphasis on business development.
  • Proven track record of selling to large enterprises and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Desirable knowledge and experience in the plastic injection industry or engineering simulation software.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
