Position Summary: We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Director of Sales and Go-To-Market Strategy to enhance our operations in Montreal. The successful candidate will be a self-driven, business development-oriented professional with a solid history of selling software solutions to major enterprises. This role requires a proactive approach to innovate and implement new sales methodologies for a growing organization, alongside a commitment to assume a leadership position. You will collaborate closely with the executive team, product development, and marketing to not only manage but also construct and design a sales organization from the foundation up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate go-to-market strategies that align with Maya HTT's mission for new products across relevant markets, informed by market and customer insights.
- Establish a standardized and scalable sales process for Maya's direct sales channels.
- Generate a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through both inbound and outbound initiatives, including innovative lead-generation campaigns and participation in industry events.
- Oversee intricate sales cycles and, where feasible, cultivate additional business within existing accounts.
- Articulate Maya HTT's value proposition to various levels of potential customer decision-makers, including C-Suite executives, IT, and Procurement.
- Provide accurate forecasts of the sales pipeline while meeting established short-term and long-term performance indicators.
- Continuously identify ideal customer profiles in response to evolving business needs, mapping out the customer purchasing journey.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, fostering relationships that can lead to future business opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively across various internal teams.
- Participate in industry trade shows to gather insights and generate leads, while advising Maya HTT's leadership on pertinent market trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in software sales, demonstrating a history of surpassing sales targets.
- Self-motivated and driven with a strong emphasis on business development.
- Proven ability to engage with large enterprises and navigate complex sales processes.
- Familiarity with the plastic injection sector or engineering simulation software is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
