Position Summary: We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Director of Sales and Go-To-Market Strategy to elevate our operations in Montreal. The ideal candidate will possess a self-driven approach, a strong focus on business development, and a demonstrated history of successfully selling software solutions to large enterprises. This role requires a proactive mindset to innovate and establish new sales methodologies within a growing organization, alongside a commitment to leadership. You will collaborate closely with the executive team, product management, and marketing to not only manage but also architect a sales organization from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate go-to-market strategies that align with Maya HTT's mission for new products across relevant markets, informed by market and customer insights.
- Establish a standardized and scalable sales process for Maya's direct sales channels.
- Generate a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through both inbound and outbound initiatives, including innovative lead-generation campaigns and industry networking.
- Oversee complex sales cycles and, where feasible, cultivate additional business within existing accounts.
- Articulate Maya HTT's value proposition to various levels of potential customer decision-makers, including C-Suite executives, IT, and Procurement.
- Provide accurate forecasts of the sales pipeline while meeting established short-term and long-term performance indicators.
- Continuously identify ideal customer profiles in response to evolving business needs and map customer purchasing journeys.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, fostering relationships that can lead to future business opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively across internal teams to drive results.
- Participate in industry trade shows to research and generate leads while advising the executive leadership team on market trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in software sales, with a proven ability to exceed sales targets.
- Self-motivated and driven with a strong emphasis on business development.
- Proven track record of selling to large enterprises and managing complex sales processes.
- Familiarity with the plastic injection industry or engineering simulation software is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
