Sales Strategy Director

We are currently seeking a Digital Portfolio Sales Director who will play a crucial role in strategizing, developing, and managing competitive sales initiatives on both national and international fronts. This position will be key in proactively executing sales and delivery operations to clients within the designated region.

The Digital Portfolio is represented in the marketplace by teams that include the Sales Director, who is responsible for customer account strategy and growth, a Technical Sales representative to address technology and IT concerns, and a Services representative overseeing the adoption of existing business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead sales and campaign initiatives to successful outcomes by integrating various aspects of customer needs in a consultative approach.
  2. Coordinate campaign and account strategies with go-to-market stakeholders, including the Technical Sales Lead and Services Lead.
  3. Establish, maintain, and expand a network to address customer requirements and ensure open lines of communication.
  4. Coordinate the packaging of Boeing and industry products and knowledge into comprehensive solutions that fulfill customer needs.
  5. Utilize company resources by building and leading a capture team to support customer commitments, gain a competitive edge, and drive business growth.
  6. Oversee the approval process by advocating for customer requirements and presenting the business case to management to secure quality deals.
  7. Act as a mentor to colleagues in capturing and documenting detailed customer insights and assist in network development.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or higher with 5 or more years of relevant experience.
  2. Approximately 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing.
  3. Working knowledge of software solutions or software development.
  4. Must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goods.
  5. Eligibility to handle US export-controlled data is required.
  6. 7+ years of experience in sales and marketing within the Commercial Aviation sector or airline industry.
  7. 5 years of experience in complex sales.
  8. 3 years of experience in software sales.
  9. Familiarity with Salesforce as a CRM solution.
  10. Knowledge of Boeing, Jeppesen, or Aerdata family of digital solutions is preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess airline operational experience in flight or technical operations management, along with expertise in complex, multi-stakeholder business-to-business sales and software solutions. Familiarity with Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions will be advantageous.

Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates must reside in the immediate area or manage relocation at their own expense.
