Position: Customer Support Specialist (Part-Time)

Employment Type: Part-time

The Customer Support Specialist serves as the initial point of contact within our organization, offering assistance to students, faculty, staff, and visitors, primarily concerning access to facilities.

This role requires both independent work and collaboration with various internal teams to effectively manage customer expectations while delivering a high standard of service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional front-line service to students, faculty, and the public.
  • Manage and regulate access to practice and teaching areas.
  • Respond to incoming phone inquiries and emails.
  • Coordinate with building services personnel to ensure accurate room and equipment arrangements.
  • Oversee inventory and demand for room keys and equipment.
  • Input bookings into the online scheduling system and complete assigned administrative duties.
  • Facilitate the sale of practice cards, including cash handling, POS transactions, and end-of-day reconciliation.
  • Provide support in the mailroom as needed, managing mail, courier services, and office supply requests.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service capacity, ideally in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation: Minimum wage, currently set at $16.55 per hour.

Availability: Flexibility in scheduling is required, with shifts available between 8:00 a.m. and evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
