Position Type: Permanent Full Time

This role is responsible for enhancing the proactive client experience for significant and intricate Group Retirement Services clients. You will manage focused communications, oversee implementations, handle project management, and ensure overall service excellence. This position includes a National Service Plan (NSP) tailored to the client by collaborating closely with key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of the client relationship, including discussions on plan design, legislative matters, governance, and investment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive annual business strategy.
  • Work alongside the sales team to support retention and execution objectives.
  • Identify and highlight growth opportunities and implement strategies to seize them.
  • Continuously evaluate the changing needs of clients and seek opportunities to cross-sell relevant products and services.
  • Contribute to the development of communication and educational strategies.
  • Engage with client and partner teams on a regular basis to review service deliverables and assess ongoing needs.
  • Lead project management initiatives, including marketing and communication projects, as well as changes to HRIS or other systems.
  • Participate in advisory committees at the head office.
  • Contribute to the sales process by assisting with RFP responses and participating in presentations to showcase processes and key services.
  • Serve as a resource for team members, contributing to their training and professional development.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Group Retirement services.
  • Advanced technical expertise in Group Retirement, preferably with a CEBS designation.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, demonstrating a solid understanding of business principles.
  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.
  • A career trajectory that illustrates a deep understanding of group retirement clients, products, and processes, along with a proven track record in servicing a large client base.
  • Highly adaptable, motivated to excel, and demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, showcasing a polished and professional demeanor, with the ability to listen, negotiate, and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong capacity for decision-making and innovative problem-solving.
  • Excellent presentation abilities.
  • Proven capability to build robust relationships with clients and consultants.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with the sales team during finalist presentations.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a larger team.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential due to travel requirements.

Compensation: The base salary for this position ranges from $65,400 to $114,500 annually. This figure represents the base salary only and does not include other variable compensation components of our total rewards package.
