As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital role in fostering a welcoming and supportive environment that enhances the experiences of our team members and the community. Key Responsibilities:
- Actively generate new business through member referrals, corporate outreach, and follow-up on inquiries, ensuring thorough engagement with potential leads.
- Surpass personal sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and techniques.
- Exhibit integrity and uphold company values in all interactions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while managing member accounts and scheduling introductory sessions.
- Create a friendly atmosphere for colleagues, members, and guests at all times.
- Show enthusiasm, friendliness, and ambition in every interaction.
- Handle phone communications with professionalism, making outbound calls for trial offers and other inquiries.
- Maintain a tidy facility and promptly address member requests and concerns.
- Greet all members and guests warmly, ensuring ongoing engagement.
- Effectively communicate information about special events, club services, programs, and schedules to members and guests.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on all aspects of club facilities, services, and operational hours.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer-focused role, ideally within a similar sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding expectations.
- CPR/AED certification is required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).
- Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking are necessary for daily responsibilities.
