Our commitment is to deliver a customer experience that is centered around human needs, ensuring that SMBs are always 'on the money'.

We are excited to welcome our inaugural Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to our Finance & Accounting team. • Maintain standardized reporting and dashboards to track KPIs and financial metrics
  • Assist in the development of multi-year business plans and conduct financial modeling for strategic initiatives
  • Identify inefficiencies in processes, spearhead improvements, and implement best practices in financial planning
  • Offer recommendations to bolster long-term organizational success and assess the financial implications of new ventures
  • Deliver decision support through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity assessments
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to aid special projects, strategic initiatives, and evaluate the financial ramifications of business opportunities
Candidate Profile:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related field, ideally within the tech startup ecosystem
  • Proven experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Strong proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Google Sheets), with advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective communicator and presenter, capable of conveying complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Passionate about contributing to the development of a strategic finance function, adept at solving intricate business challenges through accurate and timely financial models, analyses, and recommendations
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and manage multiple priorities
  • Resilient and adaptable; thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Located in Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area; hybrid work model with in-office collaboration two days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA is advantageous
  • Experience in a scaling fintech organization
Our Commitment to You:
  • Competitive compensation and equity opportunities: every team member shares in our success.
  • Comprehensive health benefits: full health coverage + an HSA/WSA from day one to ensure you have the necessary support.
  • Generous vacation policy: 3 weeks of vacation + 5 flexible days + a year-end holiday shutdown to recharge and rejuvenate.
  • Hybrid work environment: we value collaboration and connection, offering catered lunches and a snack/beverage program for in-office days.
  • Focus on personal and professional development: support from leadership committed to your growth through regular feedback and coaching.
  • Top-tier equipment: a Mac environment with all the tools you need to excel.
  • Team-oriented culture: we prioritize collaboration, team bonding, and most importantly, having fun.
