Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis

Wealthsimple Digital Assets Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success by providing financial insights and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Financial Models: Create and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flows, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed, such as financial due diligence, M&A analysis, and process improvements.
Requirements:
- 4-6 Years of Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a financial role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Financial Modeling and Analysis: Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, with experience working with complex financial data and models.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Collaboration and Adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
