In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a secure and efficient work environment while supporting the needs of our production facility. This position offers a diverse range of tasks, allowing you to gain valuable insights into the aggregate sector and step in for various roles as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Operate mobile machinery on site (e.g., forklift) Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas Clean, maintain, construct, and lubricate concrete forms Prepare form orders for dispatch Transport materials between storage and workshop areas Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, along with company policies; assist in conducting physical inspections of the facility.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required Previous experience in an open pit mining environment is advantageous Familiarity with power tools such as routers, circular saws, and cordless drills A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a team Capability to work independently and safely without constant oversight Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn through on-the-job training Ability to work in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors Physically fit, capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs., sitting and standing for extended periods, kneeling, climbing ladders, and traversing uneven terrain Flexibility to work varied hours, including holidays and overtime as required
