Job Overview:
Lehigh Hanson is in search of dedicated, safety-conscious, and reliable Ready Mix Drivers to become a part of our operational team. As a Mixer Truck Operator, your primary responsibility will be to transport concrete to various job sites while adhering to safety protocols and operational standards. You will be tasked with verifying the quality and volume of concrete according to customer specifications and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver concrete to customers promptly and with a focus on service quality.
- Collaborate with customers on-site to ensure exceptional service.
- Conduct visual inspections of concrete mixtures for proper consistency and components.
- Coordinate with dispatch to determine the most efficient and safe routes.
- Uphold excellent public relations while performing job duties.
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines set forth by the company and governing bodies.
- Operate equipment as necessary within the plant environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 or 3 license with air brake endorsement.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience driving heavy trucks safely.
- Clean driving record (Driver's abstract required).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills in customer interactions.
- Familiarity with local and provincial transportation laws and routes.
- Basic mechanical skills for routine maintenance and inspections.
- Physically fit to lift and manage concrete chutes weighing up to 50 lbs, and capable of prolonged sitting, standing, kneeling, climbing, and walking on uneven surfaces.
- Availability to work six days a week, including potential Sundays.
- Willingness to work overtime as required by business needs and weather conditions.
