About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at 0796976 B.C. Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Work Sites

Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our high standards.

Apply Finishing Touches

Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.

Operate Heavy Equipment

Use power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.

Install Fixtures and Components

Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to ensure a secure and durable finish.

Maintain and Repair Structures

Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.

Work Environment

Work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses.

Physical Demands

The role requires physical stamina and attention to detail.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for a team player who is flexible, dependable, and able to work 40 hours per week.
