Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at Canadiana Motel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet and register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Front Desk Operations: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
  • Computer Skills: Utilize word processing software, central reservation systems, and spreadsheets to manage front desk operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Willing to train.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Willing to relocate for this position.
