Key Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms, ensuring accurate and efficient check-in processes
  • Process group arrivals and departures, handling multiple reservations and room assignments with ease
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations, providing clear communication and resolving any issues promptly
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including amenities and local attractions
  • Offer general information about points of interest in the area, enhancing the guest experience
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments, maintaining accurate records and resolving any discrepancies
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring up-to-date information and efficient operations
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, prioritizing guest safety and well-being
  • Clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, supporting the front desk team
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, providing excellent communication and customer service
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity
  • Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls, enhancing the guest experience
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment
  • Provide customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • Will train, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Availability to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
