In this role, you will:

  • Oversee a team of Business Analysts - Provide guidance and education on best practices, fostering a high-performance culture that attracts, retains, and develops talent. Ensure effective succession planning and development strategies for your team.
  • Enhance client service delivery - Lead the team in understanding complex business needs and delivering professional services to both internal and external clients. Stay informed on industry trends and contribute to business analysis improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure quality documentation - Guarantee that the Business Analysis team produces deliverables that are clear, accurate, and thoroughly documented for both system and process modifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement - Champion a client-centric culture, aligning solutions with organizational strategy while enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing risk.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders - Work alongside other teams and external partners to elevate practices in line with Tangerine's strategic objectives.
  • Understand regulatory compliance - Ensure adherence to the Regulatory Compliance Framework, including policies related to Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing.

  • Education/Experience - A minimum of 5 years in a management role within business or operational analysis, complemented by a relevant post-secondary degree or equivalent experience. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred, as is experience in the financial services sector.
  • Technical Skills - A solid understanding of banking applications and a keen interest in emerging technologies.
  • Abilities - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence senior management. Capable of bridging various stakeholders to achieve business outcomes and develop effective executive communications.
