Lead Business Analysis Manager

In this capacity, you will:
- Independently tackle intricate, multi-dimensional challenges to fulfill the operational requirements of our Rates Derivatives sector, utilizing advanced financial acumen and technological expertise to devise methodologies, models, and system solutions. This may include rapid prototyping, with requirements and solutions developed iteratively, providing interim deliverables until a final production solution is established.
- Oversee cross-functional projects aimed at implementing solutions to business challenges. This encompasses planning, securing, and scheduling resources, defining business requirements and processes, preparing business case proposals, developing testing, conversion, and implementation strategies, creating detailed project plans, monitoring progress against established objectives, conducting financial reviews, and securing consensus and cooperation from users and senior management.
- Deliver business support across all global units, including both new and existing products and deal structuring, addressing ad hoc inquiries and management information systems (MIS), providing user training, and designing and implementing system enhancements. This task is further complicated by time zone differences and variations across business lines.
- Continuously enhance your understanding of our business strategies and policies, risk management practices and methodologies, product offerings, financial markets, financial instruments, regulatory requirements, Back Office processes, and the rapidly evolving technology landscape to effectively deliver business solutions and services to end-user business lines.
- Effectively manage and supervise business analysis teams by establishing performance expectations, monitoring outcomes, providing performance feedback including preparing performance evaluations, and offering guidance and coaching as necessary. This also includes assisting in the recruitment of qualified project management and business analysis personnel.
Do you possess the skills that will enable you to excel in this role? We would be excited to collaborate with you if you have:
- A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in requirement gathering and business analysis.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team of business analysts, with a strong familiarity in overseeing multiple workstreams with varying priorities.
- Prior experience with financial instruments, including OTC derivative products and foreign exchange, along with knowledge of market conventions and valuation methods (e.g., Risk, PV calculation) and risk management methodologies.
- A solid grasp of current electronic data processing practices, system development techniques, real-time analytical and formal modeling tools, and an ability to stay current with the rapidly evolving technology landscape to effectively apply technological solutions to business challenges. The successful candidate is expected to leverage this knowledge to assist senior management in establishing future technology directions for the division.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to function as both a team leader and a collaborative team member.
- A recognized post-graduate degree in STEM or a related field.
