In this capacity, you will:

  • Oversee a team of Business Analysts - Guide and mentor your team on industry best practices. Foster a high-performance culture by implementing a people strategy that attracts, retains, and develops talent while promoting an inclusive workplace. Manage the allocation, utilization, recruitment, and growth of Business Analysts to meet both personal and organizational goals. Lead the team in delivering exceptional service to clients by understanding their complex business needs across various initiatives. Stay informed about emerging industry trends and actively contribute to the enhancement of business analysis capabilities.
  • Enhance the business analysis chapter at Tangerine - Drive a client-centric culture to strengthen client relationships and leverage broader organizational knowledge. Ensure that solutions align with the strategic goals of the organization while improving operational efficiency and minimizing risk. Encourage innovative thinking to adapt to evolving business needs, thereby identifying opportunities for optimization and simplification of current solutions.
  • Ensure compliance and quality - Work closely with other Tangerine IT teams and external partners to elevate the quality of practices in line with Tangerine's strategic objectives. Serve as a consultant during the initiative intake process, refining business case assessments and conducting feasibility analyses. Maintain a thorough understanding of the Regulatory Compliance Framework, including Anti-Money Laundering and related policies.

Do you possess the skills necessary for success in this role? We would be excited to collaborate with you if you have:

  • Education/Experience - A minimum of 5 years in business or operational analysis, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. A degree in business, technology, systems, or a related field is required, or equivalent work experience. Experience in an Agile environment is essential, and familiarity with the financial services sector is preferred.
  • Technical Skills - Strong understanding of banking applications and a keen interest in emerging technologies.
  • Abilities - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels. A dynamic and energetic professional who can influence senior management and bridge various stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
