Technical Support Specialist
  • Education: Completion of a college diploma or a non-university certificate program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist users facing challenges with their computer systems.
  • Investigate and apply solutions based on user manuals and technical documentation.
  • Deliver guidance, training, and operational support to users.
  • Keep a log of issues and resolutions for future reference.
  • Provide support for network and Internet-related inquiries.
Support for Indigenous Communities:
  • Engage in initiatives that assist Indigenous populations.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous individuals.
  • Establish connections with Indigenous communities and organizations.
  • Conduct training sessions on cultural awareness and competency for staff.
  • Facilitate access to Elders for guidance and support.
