About the Role

CIT Corp is seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Technician to join our team. As a Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide assistance with computer-related issues, including hardware and software problems.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, using technical documentation and resources as needed.
  • Communication: Provide clear and concise communication to users, both verbally and in writing, to ensure that issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to users on the use of computer systems and software, as needed.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up and configure computer equipment, including hardware and software, for employee use.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of MS Windows and computer programming/programming languages.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to multitask, strong time management skills, and a permanent work term.
