Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide assistance with computer-related issues, including hardware and software problems.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, using technical documentation and resources as needed.
- Communication: Provide clear and concise communication to users, both verbally and in writing, to ensure that issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to users on the use of computer systems and software, as needed.
- Equipment Setup: Set up and configure computer equipment, including hardware and software, for employee use.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as computer science or information technology.
- Experience: Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is an asset.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Windows and other computer systems and software.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to multitask, strong time management skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
