Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide assistance with computer-related issues, including hardware and software problems.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner, using technical documentation and resources as needed.
- Communication: Provide clear and concise communication to users, both verbally and in writing, to ensure that issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to users on the use of computer systems and software, as needed.
- Equipment Setup: Set up and configure computer equipment, including hardware and software, to ensure that it is functioning properly.
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is an asset.
- Experience: Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is an asset.
- Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of MS Windows and computer hardware and software.
- Personal Suitability: Ability to multitask, strong time management skills, and excellent communication skills.
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
- Language: English.
